I dislike my hair. It is simply awful. I just can not stand it! Then a few years ago I decided that I’d just about had enough of fighting my hair every morning and that I would buy a pair of high quality straighteners to help me sort out my crazy hair.
A friend of mine went to the hair stylist and she has unbelievably curly locks. She asked the hair stylist to try and straighten it and they got out a pair of ghds. When I saw the result I couldn’t believe it. Her hair was amazing. Not a curl or wave in place and the transformation from frizzy to straight was impressive. I decided to buy some ghds of my own. They looked quite easy to use. All the salons near me were selling them in excess of £100, so I looked online for a lower price.
To make sure you are not ripped off I would be very careful of purchasing ghds from the net and only buy from web sites that are official ghd dealer. I bought mine from this great site: ghd straighteners they only list authorised ghd stockists and also compred the prices from all of them and had no problems.
GHD Stands for Good Hair Day, and a good hair day is what you get when you use them. They are ceramic plated straightening irons, which incorporate alot of technologies which you will not find in other shraighteners including microprocessor technology which regulates the plate temperature five time a second. They heat up to 210 degrees in 7 seconds and can straighten your hair to perfection, they can also be used to create flicks and curls.
The only unfortunate thing I can think of about ghd straighteners is that they are more expensive than most other makes of straighteners (prices I’ve seen range from £85-£110) but personally I think they’re worth it.
